Dr. Ocean

Dr. Ocean is Mad Science Maritimes' resident ocean expert and whale obsessive! A vertebrate marine biologist with 7 years on the Pacific coast running whale watching tours and studying cetaceans, she knows what lurks beneath the waves and she will absolutely tell you everything about it. After loading up her lifted pickup (with Luna the dog riding shotgun and a camper in the back), she drove coast to coast to join our crew in Nova Scotia, and we couldn't be happier she made the trip. When she's not bringing ocean science to life for wide-eyed kids, you'll find her on a trail somewhere with Luna or planning her next adventure. Her goal? Making kids fall in love with the ocean, one "whoa" moment at a time.
